Home of the Demo Archives Unveil Anthony Moore’s Latest Track

Anthony Moore has released a new single titled “Me and Neil Diamond.” The single features vocals from Ian McCulloch of Echo & the Bunnymen and is part of an upcoming archival collection named Home of the Demo. This release includes ten previously unreleased tracks recorded between 1978 and 1984.

“Me and Neil Diamond” features keyboards with a textured, aquatic quality, creating an atmospheric backdrop for the song’s narrative. The composition includes programmed rhythms and multiple vocal layers contributed by Anthony Moore and Maz Palladino. Ian McCulloch provides the lead vocals for the track. The single is scheduled to be part of the Home of the Demo collection, which is set to be available on October 25, 2024.

Home of the Demo marks the third archival release from Anthony Moore. The collection follows earlier releases, including OUT (1976), which was officially issued in 2020, and Flying Doesn’t Help (1979), reissued in 2022. The new compilation features several notable tracks, such as “Earthbound Misfit,” later adapted by Pink Floyd as “Learning to Fly,” a live-style version of “Lucia Still Alive,” and a modified version of “Judy, Judy” featuring Page the Oracle on electric guitar.
