Blonde Redhead is an American alternative rock band formed in New York City in 1993 by twin brothers Amedeo and Simone Pace, originally from Italy, along with Japanese musician Kazu Makino. Their sound blends elements of indie rock, dream pop, and experimental music, marked by atmospheric arrangements and Makino’s distinctive vocals. Early albums like La Mia Vita Violenta (1995) and Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons (2000) established their reputation within the alternative scene, while later work introduced more electronic textures.
