doubleVee is an alt‑pop duo formed in 2012 by Allan Vest, formerly lead vocalist and songwriter for Starlight Mints, and Barb Hendrickson Vest, an experienced public-radio producer and editor . Based in Oklahoma City, the married couple self-records in their home studio and collaborates on songwriting, mixing, and production. Their discography includes the concept album The Moonlit Fables of Jack the Rider (2017), the EP Songs for Birds and Bats (2019), the 2022 album Treat Her Strangely, and the upcoming EP Periscope at Midnight, scheduled for release on July 25, 2025 .
