Eiko Ishibashi is a Tokyo-based composer and multi-instrumentalist whose work spans experimental music, film scores, and collaborative projects. She has released solo albums on labels such as Drag City (Imitation of Life, The Dream My Bones Dream) and Editions Mego (Hyakki Yagyō), and collaborated with musicians including Keiji Haino, Damon & Naomi, and Masami Akita (Merzbow). Ishibashi composed the original score for Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s film Drive My Car (2021), which received international recognition and won the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film. Her practice integrates piano, flute, analog electronics, and voice.
