Jarboe is an experimental vocalist and composer based in the United States. After joining Swans in the mid-1980s, she remained an essential part of the group until the late 1990s. Her solo catalogue includes collaborations with Lustmord, Pan Sonic, and Blixa Bargeld, as well as performance-based and multidisciplinary works.
