Klaxons is a British indie rock band formed in London in 2005, known for pioneering the “new rave” movement that blended indie rock with electronic and dance influences. Their debut album, Myths of the Near Future (2007), brought critical and commercial success, featuring singles like “Golden Skans” and “Gravity’s Rainbow.” Klaxons’ energetic sound, characterized by synthesizers, driving beats, and psychedelic undertones, marked a significant moment in UK indie music during the late 2000s. The band’s later releases continued to experiment with electronic textures before their split in 2015.
