Mareux is the project of Los Angeles-based musician Aryan Ashtiani, known for his work across darkwave, goth pop, and post punk. His viral cover of The Cure’s “The Perfect Girl” introduced his minimalist style to a wider audience, followed by the release of his debut album Lovers from the Past in 2023.
