“Well begun is half done!” This is the main reason that should motivate us to prepare healthy appetizers.
Even if appetizers are a small part of our meal, they are in various cultures all around the world an important part of it.
Appetizers are important for stimulating our appetite, helping us contain the hunger before the meal, and avoiding over-eating.
Since appetizers invite us to enjoy the meal, they have to be delicious and healthy.
Raw appetizers are easy to prepare and are delicious.
Ingredients:
One person portion
- 1 Tomato
- Avocado Cream
- 4 Green Olives
- Some parsley fresh leaves
Raw appetizers are easy to prepare and are delicious.

After cutting a tomato into four pieces, with a spoon, I remove gently the fleshy interior without breaking the tomato wedges’ skin ( I use the tomato interior heart to make another starter or side dish).
Next, I add the avocado cream to the tomato wedges’ skin, put a green olive on top, and garnish with the parsley leaves.
This appetizer is fresh and taking advantage of the benefits of the avocado cream is healthy and tasty.
The mix of the flavors tickled me.
I love the spice taste and the creamy texture.
