Bill Leeb Extends Solo Project With Machine Vision EP
Bill Leeb returns to his solo work with Machine Vision, a six-track EP scheduled for release on August 22, 2025. The release functions as both companion piece and extension to Model Kollapse, his debut solo album from September 2024, gathering five remixes alongside one new composition titled “Fireshow.”

Genres: EBM, Electronica, Industrial Music
Label: Metropolis Records
Description: Machine Vision EP by Bill Leeb, due August 22 2025 on Metropolis Records, includes five remixes plus new track “Fireshow” from Model Kollapse.
The EP centers on reworkings of “Neuromotive,” which receives three separate treatments by Rhys Fulber under the titles “Sehr Geil One Mix,” “Stacks Mix,” and “Sehr Geil Two Mix.” Dream Bullet contributes remixes of “Infernum” and “Fusion.” The “Neuromotive (Stacks Mix by Rhys Fulber)” appeared as a single release in April 2025, preceding the full EP by several months.
The Machine Vision project continues the sonic territory Leeb established on Model Kollapse, where traces of early EBM acts like DAF and Front 242 intersected with industrial textures. The original album featured collaborations with Shannon Hemmet on “Terror Forms,” Vancouver post-punk band ACTORS on “Muted Obsession,” and Mimi Page on “Erosion Through Time.”
Bill Leeb operates as the Vancouver-based musician behind Front Line Assembly and Delerium, alongside involvement in projects including Noise Unit, Intermix, and Cyberaktif. He formed Front Line Assembly in 1986 after departing Skinny Puppy, which he had joined as a founding member in 1982. The band developed into one of the primary architects of the electro-industrial genre, initially operating as an experimental outlet before evolving into a full touring and recording entity. His ambient project Delerium, formed with Rhys Fulber, produced multiple releases throughout the 1990s and 2000s that found commercial success in electronic and new-age markets. Despite four decades of musical output across multiple projects, Model Kollapse marked his first standalone solo album, recorded in Vancouver, Toronto, and Los Angeles.
The EP arrives as Leeb continues his work with Front Line Assembly, though specific tour dates for 2025 remain unconfirmed at this time.
