This track is from his forthcoming album, “The Key (Became The Important Thing [& Then Just Faded Away]),” set to be released on June 28.
Chris Corsano, born in 1975 in Englewood, New Jersey, is acclaimed for his innovative and versatile drumming. He has performed with numerous artists across various genres, including Thurston Moore, Kim Gordon, Yoko Ono, Björk, and Paul Flaherty. Corsano is known for his inventive solo performances, utilizing a wide array of instruments and objects to create unique sounds.
”The Full-Measure Wash Down” features a blend of Gnawa-inspired string drum acoustics and a post-punk drone, enriched with percussive guitars and minimalist funk-rock elements.
