Stockholm group Dag och Natt announce Years And Years for August release
Years And Years, the debut album by Stockholm group Dag och Natt, will be released on 15 August 2025 via Labrador Records. Alongside the announcement, they have published a track titled Iron Man, available now on YouTube.

The band consists of Elia Mårtensson Almegård, Sara Engström, Maja Zetterberg, and Lars Blume Jensen. Vocals are shared between Mårtensson Almegård, Engström and Zetterberg, while Jensen contributes drums. Their formation followed initial conversations around creating two separate projects — one focused on lighter tonal material, the other darker — but this concept was discarded early in favour of a consolidated format under the name Dag och Natt, Swedish for “Day and Night”.
Their debut record was written largely in isolation, with sessions reportedly taking place in a remote cabin. The structure of their compositions appears to prioritise sequence and accumulation rather than formula or repetition. Instrumentally, the songs begin with bass and guitar arrangements, later anchored by drums. According to the band, songwriting often progresses without fixed structures, favouring open-ended arrangements and collective input.
