Formed in 2021 from home demos by guitarist Ross O’Carroll, the band includes vocalist Jutty Taylor, guitarists Matt Ripp Bennett and Neil Popkin, and drummer Hayden Scott. Their history spans past projects like War Tapes and stints in Swedish rock titans Ghost. Recorded with producer Tom Syrowski at his L.A. home studio and Henson Studios in Hollywood, their sound blends ’90s indie nostalgia, Britpop melodies, and shoegaze.
“The occupational hazards of doing one’s True Will,” Jutty Taylor says of the single, which follows “Pony Up.” The album also features guest turns from Brendan O’Brien on Hammond organ and Olivia Morreale on backing vocals.
