Edvard Graham Lewis Announces New Album ‘Alreet?’ Out January 24th on Upp Records
Edvard Graham Lewis, widely recognized for his contributions to Wire, will release his solo album Alreet? on January 24, 2025, via Upp Records. The album, co-produced with Swedish musician and producer Max Lorentz, includes contributions from notable collaborators such as Matthew Simms and Robert Grey of Wire, cellist Kevin Kirs Vestege, hurdy-gurdy player Harald Pettersson, and sampled guitars from former Wire member Bruce Gilbert.

Following the release of the lead single “Last Scene of All,” Lewis has now introduced the track “Switch,” which explores themes of attraction and commitment.

Edvard Graham Lewis is a multifaceted artist and musician best known for his role as bassist, lyricist, and vocalist with Wire, a post-punk band formed in London in the 1970s. Beyond his work with Wire, Lewis has maintained a prolific solo career, releasing music under his name and pseudonyms such as He Said and H-A-L-O. Alongside Bruce Gilbert, he produced five albums of experimental music under the moniker Dome. His work also spans documentary scores, dance compositions, art installations, and collaborations with musicians such as Mike Watt, Jean-Louis Huhta, and Ted Milton.
