Flying Hearts issues Electric Litany’s latest single Diamonds

Electric Litany released Diamonds on 6 June 2025 through Flying Hearts. It marks the first track made public from their upcoming fourth album Desires, expected later this year. The song was recorded at Fish Factory Studios in Neasden, London, and produced by the band alongside George Botis. The track incorporates programmed percussion, santoor, and synthesizers, and was previously performed live by Alexandros Miaris during his collaboration with Echonomist at Burning Man 2025 on the Mayan Warrior stage.

Desires was recorded across multiple studios including Fish Factory Studios, Caledonian Road Studios (London), and Dada Studios and Byron Studios (Athens). Alongside Miaris and Botis, additional engineering and mixing contributions were made by the band themselves. The album features multi-instrumentalist Alexandros Miaris, drummer Richard Simic, synth player Jason Tsontilis, and bassist George Alevizo.

According to the band, the material was developed through a hybrid approach combining pre-written material with improvised studio sessions.

Electric Litany was formed in London in 2007 by Greek and British musicians. The group debuted with How to Be a Child and Win the War in 2010, followed by Enduring Days You Will Overcome (2014) and Under a Common Sky (2019). The band’s previous work has involved collaborations with figures such as Alan Parsons, and their sound has evolved through a consistent use of reverb-heavy instrumentation, lo-fi electronics, and live recording techniques.
