For Your Health share Gaia Wept ahead of June release

New track released ahead of album launch on 3DOT Recordings

For Your Health have released Gaia Wept, the final advance track from their upcoming album This Bitter Garden, due June 6 on 3DOT Recordings. The new single arrives alongside a self-directed video by guitarist Nick Marzluf, and precedes a summer tour alongside awakebutstillinbed.

This Bitter Garden
Title: This Bitter Garden
Artist: For Your Health
Release Date: 2025-06-06
Genres: Metalcore, Noise Rock
Label: 3DOT Recordings
Description: For Your Health share Gaia Wept ahead of This Bitter Garden LP, due June 6 on 3DOT Recordings, with summer tour and preorders now open.

The track continues the band’s shift toward more condensed and aggressive structures, drawing on screamo and metalcore frameworks. It was recorded as part of the This Bitter Garden sessions, produced by Eric Hudson in a repurposed church in rural Illinois. The album will be released on limited vinyl editions (including white/cobalt and white/sea blue/black heavy splatter variants), cassette, and digital formats. Pre-orders are available via the label’s store.

This Bitter Garden follows their 2021 debut full-length In Spite Of, which included tracks shaped by chaotic rhythmic turns and vocal intensity. The new LP includes earlier singles Davenport (A Rotten Pear) and Flowers For The Worst of Them, the former accompanied by a video directed by indie filmmaker Nick Holland (Wronged, An Intrusion).

The 13-song tracklist spans references both literary and theological, with titles such as Longinus, Lamb Without Fold, and Hostel Elysia, suggesting an ongoing interest in moral collapse, decay, and distorted salvation motifs.

For Your Health formed in Columbus, Ohio, in 2018. The lineup has included Hayden Rodriguez (vocals), Nick Marzluf (guitar), Damian Chlanda (bass), and Ian Solomon (drums). Their debut EP Nosebleeds was released in 2019, followed by a split with Yusuke and further collaborations with Dianacrawls and Zeta. The group has performed across North America and Europe, with previous tours including dates alongside SeeYouSpaceCowboy and The Callous Daoboys. Their output draws from a lineage that includes early Jeromes Dream, Pg. 99, and Orchid, intersecting with post-2000s screamo and hardcore derivatives. Their work has been released via Twelve Gauge, Delayed Gratification, and now 3DOT Recordings, the label run by members of Periphery.

A complete list of summer tour dates with awakebutstillinbed is available through the band’s channels.
