Description: Hirons announces Future Perfect EP for November 7th via Western Vinyl with Being The Cause single addressing workplace monotony through experimental pop.

The five-track EP positions childhood imagination against adult reality. Hirons describes “Being The Cause” as commentary on “breaking free from the grind of a monotonous job and the capitalist systems that keep us cut off from ourselves.” The song’s chorus states: “Playing the child in a life that I write / Losing my etiquette, following my mind / Hope for the pleasure of being the cause / Purposefully decadent, color in the lines.”

Future Perfect emerged during periods of unemployment and relationship dissolution. Hirons frames the work as examination of temporal perspective – a child’s projection of adulthood, an adult’s return to agency, and retrospective assessment of youthful aspiration.

Jenny Hirons operates between Britain and America as songwriter and visual artist. Her background includes design work alongside musical composition. The project represents several years of development, with Hirons describing a period when “music was the economy of our hearts” while anticipating futures “carried home in all directions.”
