KLAMP has announced the release of their latest album, TOTAAL TECHNIEK, through the Brighton-based label Human Worth. A portion of the album’s proceeds will be donated to Compass Collective, an organization that supports the integration of young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK through the arts.
KLAMP is a musical collective with members based in the UK and the Netherlands. Initially formed as a trio, the group has expanded over the past four years to include seven members. The current lineup features musicians with backgrounds in various bands, including IDLES, Pulled Apart By Horses, Petbrick, Mugstar, Sex Swing, Tall Ships, Manatees, and Do Me Bad Things.
The group’s earlier release, Hate You (2020) on God Unknown, marked a raw and aggressive period for KLAMP. The 2025 lineup introduces a significant shift, presenting a broader musical direction in TOTAAL TECHNIEK. The album incorporates elements from genres such as Krautrock, Breakcore, Industrial, and Post-Punk.
The core trio of Jason Stoll (Sex Swing / Mugstar / JAAW), Lee Vincent (Pulled Apart by Horses), and Greg Wynne (Manatees) has expanded to include Adam Devonshire (IDLES), Matthew Parker (Tall Ships), Rachael Morrison, and Wayne Adams (Petbrick / Big Lad).
