Description: Lisbon trio MAQUINA. announces a UK tour in February; their album 'DIRTY TRACKS FOR CLUBBING' will be released on vinyl by Fuzz Club on February 7th.
Earlier this year, they released their debut full-length album PRATA via Fuzz Club, which quickly moved to a second pressing due to popular demand. The upcoming vinyl edition of their initial collection responds to calls from fans eager to experience the album in this format.
Drawing inspiration from minimal krautrock repetition, electronic body music (EBM), and industrial techno, MAQUINA. delves into the intersections of these genres with intensity. Their music offers an adrenaline-fueled experience suited to both dark, intimate venues and the dance floor. Operating as a guitar-drums-bass trio without the use of synthesizers, they produce organic dance music that bridges punk and psychedelic sounds.
Formed in Lisbon, Portugal, MAQUINA. consists of three musicians who collaborate to push the boundaries of traditional rock instrumentation. The band focuses on crafting immersive live experiences, emphasizing spontaneity and the visceral impact of their music. By eschewing synthesizers in favor of a pure guitar, bass, and drums setup, they create a sound that is both organic and electrifying.
