The band consists of Livvy Bennett, Noor Khan, Michael Hunter, and Dylan Hill. “Feels So Wrong” follows the release of “Nothing Lasts Forever,” which came out late last year alongside the announcement of their signing with Epitaph.
Bennett shared insight into the song’s origins, describing a period of personal transition. Having left a full-time job to go on tour, she took up work delivering pizzas under difficult conditions while expanding her efforts in music production. She described the track as a reflection on the contrast between difficult experiences and moments of optimism, emphasizing that challenges often hold deeper meaning than expected moments of happiness.
Mamalarky previously released “Nothing Lasts Forever,” which gained attention from publications including Pitchfork, The Line of Best Fit, Stereogum, UPROXX, and Paste.
“Feels So Wrong” is now available via Epitaph Records.
