Vancouver Noise-Punk Band PISS Announces “You Made Me / Skin on Linen”
Vancouver noise-punk four-piece PISS will release their debut album, “you made me / skin on linen,” on October 30, 2026 through Sub Pop worldwide and Paper Bag Records in Canada. The fifteen-track record was recorded in January 2025 with producer Colin Stewart at Hive Creative Labs, and features Taylor Zantingh on vocals, Tyler Paterson on guitar, Gavin Moya on bass, and Garreth Roberts on drums.

The band fuses noise-punk, sound collage, and performance art into an unsparing interrogation of systemic trauma and gendered violence. Today marks the premiere of the official video for “time loop at hot slit,” a frantic, danceable track that turns its attention to girlhood inside a culture built on sexualization. The video was co-directed by Zantingh and Vivyen Sagsen and filmed inside Take Yr Time Back, a now-closed DIY venue in Vancouver, with the band surrounded by local underground figures who have sung the song back to them for years. PISS will tour internationally through 2026, opening September 3 in Margate, UK and closing November 14 in London. The itinerary includes headline shows plus festival stops at End of the Road, Second Summer, Iceland Airwaves, Pitchfork Paris, and Sonic City, along with twelve North American dates supporting Gilla Band.
“you made me / skin on linen” is available for preorder now on vinyl, CD, and cassette, with a limited Baby Pink vinyl edition among the options. The band is also arranging with autonomous spaces and radical community hubs across North America to donate physical copies of the album directly to those spaces.
The result is a record steeped in raw emotional intimacy, cut through with dissonant, bass-heavy edges and rhythms that hit hard.
