Puscifer Releases In Case You Were Napping Digital Collection July 2025

Puscifer have assembled fifteen tracks from their recording career into a digital compilation titled In Case You Were Napping. The collection appeared on July 28 through Puscifer Entertainment, Alchemy Recordings and BMG, drawing material from albums and EPs spanning nearly two decades.

The tracklist opens with “Queen B” and progresses through material including “The Humbling River,” “Momma Sed,” and “Conditions Of My Parole.” The selection includes “The Mission – M Is For Milla Mix,” which features vocals from actress Milla Jovovich, alongside “Apocalyptical” from 2020 and “Grand Canyon,” which the band used to close performances during their Sessanta tour.

The compilation arrives ahead of two August 11 performances at Exchange L.A., where Puscifer will perform their upcoming fifth studio album in its entirety. The shows are scheduled for 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., with both sets being filmed and recorded for future release. The 8 p.m. performance has sold out, though tickets remain available for the earlier show.

The band consists of Maynard James Keenan, Mat Mitchell, and Carina Round. Keenan formed the project in the early 1990s, initially performing at Tantrum, a Hollywood variety night hosted by Laura Milligan, who later appeared with Puscifer under the character name Hildy Berger. The group has released four studio albums: V is for V… in 2007, Conditions of My Parole in 2011, Money Shot in 2015, and Existential Reckoning in 2020. Their output also includes multiple EPs, live recordings, and remix collections.

Puscifer operates as both a recording entity and multimedia project, incorporating theatrical elements, fictional characters, and guest musicians across different releases and performances. Their live presentations combine concert and theater formats, with settings that have ranged from desert landscapes to wrestling rings to outer space scenarios. The band has performed at festivals including Coachella and Bonnaroo.

Beyond Puscifer, Keenan fronts Tool and A Perfect Circle, both of which have achieved commercial success and critical attention in alternative and progressive rock circles. Mitchell has worked as a producer and multi-instrumentalist on various projects, while Round maintains a solo career alongside her work with the band.

The new collection includes tracks from across their discography, starting with material from their debut through their most recent studio work. The compilation functions both as an entry point for new listeners and a consolidated overview for existing followers of the band’s output.
