The track centres on what Condo describes as “the senseless wars that are going on in the world and how society has become so tolerant of the tyrants destroying humanity.” Loud Sunday employs boom bap production with sub-heavy basslines and synthesisers, punctuated by air horn effects placed at intervals throughout the recording. The compositional approach aligns with political hip-hop work by Talib Kweli, Mos Def, and KRS-One.

Q052 took his stage name from his first name and the numerical designation assigned to his First Nations community. Born in Gesgapegiag, Gaspésie, he currently operates from Sherbrooke, Canada. His work addresses Indigenous youth issues and violence against Indigenous women and girls. He received the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist award at the 2023 International Indigenous Hip-Hop Awards. The 2021 ADISQ Gala nominated him for Indigenous Artist of the Year. The 2022 Teweikan Gala recognised him in both Expressive Music Artist/Group and Blues/Rock Artist/Group categories, while the 2022 GAMIQ shortlisted his album for Hip-Hop Album.

Condo has performed at FEQ, La Noce, OFF Québec, Innu Nikamu, Festival Kwe!, FME, Festival Bleu Bleu, and Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée. He has shared stages with Cypress Hill and appears regularly on TVA’s La Tour. Radio Canada has featured his work multiple times. His musical framework draws from Ty Segall, Immortal Technique, Cypress Hill, Black Sabbath, Rage Against the Machine, Public Enemy, Run DMC, and King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard. The result combines hip-hop with grunge, alternative rock, and spoken word elements.

Musique Nomade, the Canadian independent imprint releasing Thunder Child, focuses on Indigenous artists working with social and political material.
