The Melbourne five-piece return to European stages in May 2026 behind their third album, Three Lens Approach, released on Poison City Records in November 2025
The Melbourne five-piece screensaver will return to Europe and the United Kingdom in May and June 2026, booked through Annibale Tours. The run opens on May 21 in Paris at Supersonic and closes June 14 in Kusel, Germany at Kinett, with dates across the UK, France, and Germany in between. London appears on May 28 at Shacklewell Arms; Berlin on June 8 at Schokoladen.
The band formed in 2016 as a trans-Pacific remote project between Christopher Stephenson, previously of Spray Paint and Exek, then based in the United States, and Krystal Maynard, previously of Bad Vision, Polo, and Swim Team, based in Melbourne. The collaboration remained in a development phase for three years. By 2019 Stephenson had relocated to Melbourne and the group expanded into a full live lineup, adding James Beck (Personal Touch, ex Rat Columns) on drums, Dorian Vary (Soundtrackmusic) on bass, and Jonnine Nokes (Horse Pills, Activities of Daily Living) on synth.
In 2021 the band released their debut album, Expressions of Interest, on Upset the Rhythm in the UK and Heavy Machinery in Australia. The record received coverage in Maximum Rock ‘n’ Roll, KEXP, Post Trash, Blunt Magazine, and Clash, and featured regularly on Henry Rollins‘s KCRW Santa Monica radio programme (read our interview with Henry Rollins).
Their second album, Decent Shapes, followed in 2023 as a split release on Poison City Records in Australia and Upset the Rhythm in the UK. The single “The Guilt” reached the top ten of the AMRAP Independent Music Charts during its initial release weeks. The album received coverage in Rolling Stone Australia, Post Trash, Raven Sings the Blues, PBS FM, NME, KEXP, Maximum Rock ‘n’ Roll, and Brooklyn Vegan.
In November 2025 screensaver released their third album, Three Lens Approach, on Poison City Records. Coverage appeared in Rolling Stone Australia, Raven Sings the Blues, Post-Punk.com, Maximum Rock ‘n’ Roll, and RRR Radio; the record was the feature release on Melbourne’s PBS Radio in the week following its release and went into rotation on Henry Rollins‘s KCRW programme.
The band has toured Australia multiple times and completed two international tours: the United States in September 2022, which included a performance at Gonerfest 19 in Memphis, Tennessee; and the UK and Europe in August 2024, which included Get Lost Fest X in Hamburg, Germany. They have shared bills with Tropical Fuck Storm, Party Dozen, Snooper, Coffin, and Power Plant, among others.
