Signal Acquired: Introducing Anomaly.FM, Our New Retro-Futurist Music Quiz

Test Your Indie Music Knowledge on a Retro Phosphor Terminal

For a long time, we’ve been fascinated by the idea of lost data, of ghost signals echoing in the void. What happens when an archive becomes corrupted? When the music of the past survives, but its labels begin to succumb to digital entropy? From these questions, our new project was born: Anomaly.FM.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our first game, a daily music trivia challenge designed for all of you.

What is Anomaly.FM?

Anomaly.FM isn’t just a quiz; it’s an experience. You take on the role of an operator who has just plugged into a stream of corrupted audio data, recovered from a forgotten server at the edge of the digital world.

How to Play

  1. Access the Terminal: Hit the “Start Analysis” button to begin.
  2. Listen to the Fragment: For each question, listen to the short audio clip recovered from the data stream.
  3. Make Your Choice: Select what you believe is the correct answer from the options, always keeping an eye out for the glitch.
  4. Get Your Rank: At the end of the quiz, you’ll receive a score and a rank in perfect dystopian-corporate style. Are you a mere “Signal Scrubber” or an elusive “Anomaly Hunter”?
  5. Return Tomorrow: The server transmits a new data stream every day at midnight. The challenge renews daily.

Try It and Let Us Know What You Think

Anomaly.FM is a passion project, brought to life in a very short time, and we’re curious to know what you think. Do the experience, aesthetic, and gameplay resonate with you? All feedback is precious.

Are you ready to decode the signal?
