Retrofuturista premieres “Love, Light, Beauty & Truth,” the new single from New York-based collective The Stevenson Ranch Davidians, available on Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp as of July 15, 2026. A companion video, directed by Jacob Kedzierski, accompanies the release.

The track originates from sessions recorded in spring 2019, roughly a year after the group’s previous album, “Amerikana.” The songs were completed before the pandemic altered global conditions the following year, and their release was postponed. Seven years later, the band has decided to issue the material as a series of singles rolled out over several months.
“This song is from a collection of material that was recorded in the spring of 2019, just over a year after the release of our last LP, ‘Amerikana’, and just under a year before the entire world was abruptly thrown into one of its darkest periods in modern history,” says frontman Dwayne Seagraves. He adds that although the songs felt relevant when written, the timing for their release was not right at the time, and that seven years on, their relevance has not diminished.
Bassist Jessica Latiolait notes that the upcoming singles will be pulled from those 2019 sessions, describing them as material that has waited a long time to reach listeners.
The band’s lineup has continued to center on Seagraves and Latiolait, joined by producer and longtime Brian Jonestown Massacre member Rob Campanella on guitar and lap steel, British drummer Misha Bullock, and Sara Minsavage on keyboards, shakes and jangles. Andy Campanella contributes background vocals on this single.
Following “Amerikana,” the group completed two European tours and recorded a full-length collection of songs, while also holding a monthly residency in the Bay Area. That residency ended when the band went on hiatus during the Covid period. Activity resumed in 2024, with tour dates alongside Micah Nelson and Particle Kid, Levitation Room and Habibi, alongside work on new material.
The band has since finished recording a fourth full-length album at Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La Studio in Malibu, California, with release planned for early 2027. Live dates in 2026 include three performances with Elephant Stone.
