Soft Tissue by Tindersticks emerges as an unreleased track from album sessions
Tindersticks have announced the release of a limited edition 7-inch vinyl single featuring “Don’t Walk, Run (Edit)” and “Soft Tissue.” The latter, which shares its name with the band’s latest album, was not included in the album’s tracklist. The vinyl will be available during their upcoming European tour and for online orders.

Description: Tindersticks release Soft Tissue on a limited 7-inch vinyl ahead of their European tour with dates in the UK North America and South America.
Along with the announcement, the band has released “Soft Tissue,” an unreleased B-side recorded during the sessions for the album Soft Tissue, which was released in late 2023 through City Slang. The single also includes a new edit of “Don’t Walk, Run” from the same album.
Stuart Staples commented on the decision to leave “Soft Tissue” out of the final album tracklist, describing it as a difficult choice between that song and “Soon to Be April” as the closing track. He mentioned that while the band recognized its significance during the recording process, it ultimately remained unreleased until now.
The band will embark on a European tour beginning on February 27, culminating in a performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall on March 17. They will also perform in North and South America, with dates scheduled in New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo, among other cities.
