Tony from Bowling Releases Single “Appear” Ahead of Upcoming Debut LP
Tony from Bowling, a Pittsburgh-based psych-garage rock band, has released Appear, the title track from their upcoming debut album. The song, out now, incorporates distorted guitar riffs, improvisational jam segments, and punk-driven energy. The band draws influence from Ty Segall, Osees, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, alongside elements inspired by The Velvet Underground, Black Sabbath, and Neil Young.

Recording for the single was handled by Tony from Bowling and Giovanni Orsini, with Warren Pryde overseeing the mix and Ryan Killen responsible for mastering. Carl Bloss contributed the cover photography, while Max Bridges worked on the artwork edits.
The band’s debut full-length album, also titled Appear, is scheduled for release on February 8. A release show will take place on the same date in Morgantown, West Virginia, at 123 Pleasant St., featuring Snarling Dogs and Flooded. Another event is planned for February 22 at Brillobox in Pittsburgh, where the group will be joined by Rex Tycoon and Astrology Now. Both performances will include visual projections by Michi Tapes.
