Ty Segall’s new album Love Rudiments releases on August 30, 2024.
Ty Segall has announced the release of his upcoming album, “Love Rudiments,” on Drag City, set for August 30, 2024. The album features instrumental tracks, with no vocals or strings, focusing on rhythmic and percussive elements. The second single from the album, “Honeymoon (Edit),” has been released, characterized by Latin cowbell patterns and an upbeat, danceable tempo.

“Honeymoon (Edit)” explores the blissful period of romantic relationships often referred to as the honeymoon phase. The track highlights themes of celebration and emotional intensity, aligned with the album’s broader exploration of the stages of love, including life, confrontation, argument, separation, and realization.
Ty Segall is a prolific American musician and songwriter known for his work in various genres, including garage rock, punk rock, and psychedelic rock. Since his debut in 2008, he has released numerous albums and EPs, both as a solo artist and with various bands. His music often features a blend of raw, energetic performances and intricate musical arrangements. In addition to his solo work, Segall has collaborated with various artists and bands, contributing to his reputation as a versatile and influential figure in contemporary rock music.
