Description: Veronica Bianqui announces "Use Once Then Destroy," out Nov 13 via NX Records, and shares single "All My Heroes Are Dead."
Far from being a straightforward autobiography, “All My Heroes Are Dead” centers on a fictionalized persona: an intensely rebellious adolescent who dismisses everything as a joke and completely surrenders to the chaos. Bianqui views her as an amplified, unfiltered version of herself. By wrapping a self-destructive urge in sharp humor, the song neutralizes its power without invalidating the underlying reality.
The album builds a world of larger-than-life characters, obsessive lovers, antiheroes, rock stars, self-destructive brats, using dark humor and vivid storytelling to explore obsession, desire, power and disposability. It was written over four years following Bianqui’s move from Los Angeles to London, alongside two Master’s degrees at Goldsmiths University (an MMus in Popular Music and an MFA in Creative Practice), where she deepened her work as a producer.

She self-produced the record and played much of it herself, with outside contributors including Omar Yakar (Courtney Barnett, Warpaint), who mixed the album.
Bianqui came up in Los Angeles clubs like the Rainbow Bar & Grill and the Cat Club, playing garage rock and punk in the city’s underground eastside scene before touring the US, Europe and South America with bands including The Blank Tapes and Suo. She released her self-titled debut album in December 2020, co-produced with Matt Adams. A series of personal losses later led her to move to London, where she completed her Goldsmiths degrees and turned more fully toward production.
