Un Tiro, translated as “One Shot,” follows the previous singles Whoreish and Brown Skin. While Whoreish utilized industrial and EBM structures, Un Tiro adopts the rhythmic patterns and instrumentation associated with early 1980s indie-pop. Vincent Guerrero IV is a musician and producer based in San Antonio, Texas. He began the Night Ritualz project as a solo venture, releasing a self-titled debut album in March 2025. Guerrero cites the influence of Depeche Mode, At The Drive-In, and Deftones on his sound, which he describes as “fuck wave”—a synthesis of darkwave, synth-punk, and post-punk.
